Navigation menu

This editor allows you to configure a navigation menu section.

To create a new menu:

1. Go to the editor
2. Click Customize
3. Use the mouse to drag and drop the icon from the toolbar into its new position on the page
4. Click within the newly created section to edit it

To add a new link:

1. Go to the editor
2. Click within an existing menu
3. Click Add Link
4. You need to enter the label for a new link, and specify its URL. Pick it from the list of pages which form your mobile website, or provide an external URL address.
5. Click Apply and then Apply Changes to complete the process

To edit an existing link:

1. Go to the editor
2. Click within an existing menu
3. Click Edit or, if the navigation menu is displayed as icons, an item label
4. Enter a new label for the selected link or modify its URL. Pick it from the list of pages which form your mobile website, or provide an external URL address.
5. Click Apply and then Apply Changes to complete the process

To rearrange menu items:

1. Go to the editor
2. Click within an existing menu
3. Use the mouse to drag and drop a selected link into a new position
4. Click Apply Changes to complete

To delete a menu item:

1. Go to the editor
2. Click within an existing menu
3. Click the icon next to an item to remove it from the menu
4. Click Apply Changes to complete

To display a menu as text or icons:

1. Go to the editor
2. Click within an existing menu
3. Choose Display as Icons from the drop-down list to add icons to the menu items. Initially, all the links will have the default icon set, but you can customize each icon.
4. Choose Display as Menu to remove icons and convert the menu to text-only links. You can choose how the menu will be presented on the web page. When folded, only its label is displayed. The user can unfold it by clicking on the label or giving it focus.

Using icons

You can use your own set of icons for your mobile websites.

1. Go to the editor
2. Click within an existing menu
3. Make sure the menu items are displayed as icons
4. Click Icons Library to display images provided by the UBIK.com service. You cannot modify this library.
5. Click Your Images to preview your very own image library. This is used to store your images as you build/update your content.
6. Click Upload Images to add a new icon to your library
   1. Click Browse... and navigate to the image file you want to upload
   2. Click Add more to submit several icons at once
   3. Click Upload to submit the files
7. Use the mouse to drag and drop an icon from the selected image library into the menu item
8. Click Apply Changes to complete the process

Key shortcuts

UBIK.com automatically adds numeric key shortcuts to menus. These shortcuts allow users to easily access selected links by clicking the corresponding numeric keys on their mobile phones.
